It was a two evening extravaganza where you could learn, taste, and experience more than 200 limited-quantity wines. I’d never been to one and it was a lot of fun. A really friendly crowd to say the least. I found it kind…  I love that here on PEI Remembrance Day is such a day of reflection. It is a statutory holiday with ceremonies taking place all over the island. Every year Derek and I take the kids and cameras and make a family day of it. It’s a very emotional and humbling experience. Last year our family…  Yesterday we went to the Remembrance Day ceremony in Charlottetown. There were ceremonies in communities all over the island, this one being in front of Province House where Canadian Confederation was born. I couldn’t believe the people. There were so many people, standing in complete silence, and not for just the 2 minutes of silence…  Here is a photo I took at the 2007 Remembrance Day Ceremony in Saint-Bruno-de-Montarville, Quebec.
